Hello and thanks for visiting our blog! This is Samantha – the other half of Scott Patrick Myers Photography.
If there’s one word to describe Elizabeth and Adam’s spring wedding at Les Bourgeois Vineyards it’s joyful. Elizabeth radiated joy and her big happy smile was contagious to all. I loved watching how her friends and family, and especially Adam, adored her. This sweet couple from D.C. got to know one another online and knew as soon as they met in person that they’d found their match (no pun intended as they met via match.com). They weren’t the only ones that knew this was “it.” Elizabeth’s dad knew as soon as she started talking about Adam that he was going to be his son-in-law one day. Elizabeth’s mom, Kristy was pivotal in planning the wedding in her hometown of Columbia. From the vendors to the small details, Kristy helped coordinate an amazing wedding day for her daughter. I love how sentimental the day was for Elizabeth. For one, she got ready in the bedroom she’d grown up in. It was fun to hear her bridesmaids tell stories about their slumber parties in her room as children. It was also special as both sets of parents had a role in the ceremony and Elizabeth’s grandfather officiated. Les Bourgeois is sentimental for Scott and I as well since that’s where we got married. The point overlooking the Missouri River is simply stunning and never fails to be a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding. Elizabeth and Adam, congratulations and best wishes to you both!!
