Of all the handmade wedding albums I’ve built over the last couple of years this is definitely one of my favorites. Not only was Brock and Natalie’s wedding at Chandler Hill Vineyards absolutely beautiful it was also one of those days when everything just falls into place and works. It was raining off and on all day and it looked like things might have to be moved inside. At the last minute though the clouds moved away and we had one of the most spectacular sunsets I’ve ever seen at a wedding.
For their Artisan Album we used a cream-colored lokta paper that matched Natalie’s dress for the cover and a purple lokta paper that matched the bridesmaids’ dresses for the spine. I also added a tiny bit of green along the edge of the cover and spine to hint at the vineyard location. To really bring home the vineyard theme we used cork skin with a tendril of green running across for the end sheets. Natalie and Brock not only have a wedding album that beautifully tells the story of their wedding but does so in a way that is absolutely unique to them. That’s what we want for all our couples.
